The Swell Season at two concerts in Poland! The duo, known for their award-winning music for the film and musical "Once", will perform on May 23 at the Studio club in Krakow and on May 24 at the Stodoła club in Warsaw. The limited Alter Art presale will start on December 5 (Thursday) at 11:00 a.m. at www.alterart.pl/wydarzenie/the-swell-season. The general sale starts on December 6 (Friday) at 11:00 a.m.

After a few sold-out concerts in March 2022, and a tour in the USA in 2023, The Swell Season is back with a European tour! Markéta Irglová and Glen Hansard gained popularity in 2007, when they appeared in the film "Once". The following year, they won an Oscar in the category of Best Original Song for the song "Falling Slowly". The soundtrack also garnered two Grammy nominations. After her self-titled debut album (2006), The Swell Season released the album Strict Joy (2009).

In 2012, the musical Once debuted, winning 8 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Over the past decade, Once, in its various iterations, has become a modern classic and a cultural touchstone, being referenced in shows such as The Simpsons and Ted Lasso. This modern masterpiece has created a unique and loyal fan base around the world.

In recent years, Irglová has released 3 solo albums, while Hansard fans have enjoyed 5 studio albums. The latest, All That Was East Is West Of Me Now, was released in 2023.

TICKETS

 General sale starts on December 6 at 11:00 am.

The official seller of tickets for concert are eBilet.pl and stodola.pl. We recommend you to buy tickets from official sources only. By purchasing a ticket outside the official outlet network, you risk to buy a forged ticket and therefore may not be admitted to the Event. We remind you that the purchased tickets should not be made available to third parties, in particular the barcode on the ticket, so as to prevent it from being copied, photographed or duplicated in any other form.

 

The prices constitute admission charges for concert. A service fee of 5% of the ticket value is added to the ticket price.

ACCREDITATIONS

Media interested in receiving an accreditation for The Swell Season should complete the accreditation form.

Applications will be accepted until May 12, 2025.

The information about granted accreditations will be sent until May 16, 2025.
